Privacy
Acenet stores as little as it can, uses it only to run the service and moderate it, and never sells or shares it. There are no website accounts: nothing on this site asks for an email address or a password.
Your Ace Combat 6 account
The first time your game signs in, the Acenet lobby creates an account for it. It holds:
- Your game's public key, which identifies your game. The private half never leaves your computer.
- The IDs the lobby assigns: a peer ID, an Xbox-style XUID and a virtual IP address used inside the game.
- Your gamertag, the one you asked for and the one you got (the lobby adds a number if the name is taken), and the date the account was created.
- Ranked Match and leaderboard results the game reports, stored with your XUID and shown to other players under your gamertag.
While you play
- The lobby sees your IP address and port, your gamertag, which game client you run, and the sessions you host or join. It keeps these in memory while you are online, not on disk.
- To connect you directly, the lobby gives your IP address to the players in your session, as on Xbox Live. With
privacy = truein your settings it does not: all your traffic goes through Acenet's relay instead, which may add latency. - Admins can look up the IP address of an online player for moderation. Each lookup is recorded in the admin log (that a lookup happened, not the address).
Logs
- IP addresses are left out of normal server logs. Logs are kept on the server only.
- The admins' moderation log records kicks, bans, notices, account deletions and IP lookups, and is kept for 90 days.
- A ban stores what was banned (a game key, or an IP address or range), the reason, and when it ends. It is kept as long as the ban lasts.

No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts, fonts or images. The live count on the home page shows numbers only, never player names.
Deleting your data
To have your account deleted, contact Discord @dogexandedare. Deleting it removes your key, IDs, gamertag and leaderboard results, and removes your gamertag from the admin log. If your game signs in again later it gets a new, empty account. A ban on your key is kept as long as the ban lasts.
